Volume 1 Issue 2

For Week Ending 12 Jun 1999

[Picture] Welcome
Well hi long time no see, glad to have you back. A week has passed and here as promised Issue 2 of Ramblings from the Edge.  The response to my first issue has been very positive, thanks to all of you who took the time to e-mail your words of encouragement and to link to this site. Your support is GREATLY appreciated.

[Picture] In this edition like most of America we take a look at the final Episode of DS9, and add our two cents. We give our reviews for favorite comics of the preceding month, as well as our picks for best buys in June. We recommend movies to be on the lookout for, and in our Overlooked Classics section we review perhaps one of the greatest horror movies of all time. And last but certainly not least in our Pulp Fiction section we review two classic mystery books no personal Library should be without.

Oh and lest I forget this months pick for best DVD, and best video.

And while you walk our corridors beware, this site is not for the faint of heart. There are visions here, and dragons. There is the ghost of Poe, and the Screaming truth of Ellison, so step... carefully. Please bookmark this page, and come back throughout the week, and eventually you'll get to read it all. Definitely worth the time. Please e-mail me and I'll of course notify you next Sunday when I update this page. Thanks.

In a time of wars... and rumors of war, if there is to be salvation, I think we shall find it in our childish things. I think it is in our petty joys and strivings and creations in the midst of death, that we find our strongest arguments for life.

[Picture] Raves and Reviews I know comics still have this stigma of being kids stuff in America, but America has always been quick to label things.  America has never been above being wrong. For your own edification Click here and find books so good they will change your mind.
